A Spoonful of Sugar in Your Cup of Tea | Pustaka Pias x Small Fry
“A Spoonful of Sugar in Your Cup of Tea”
This collaboration between Pustaka Pias and Small Fry Collective was initiated and co-published by Delphi Suhariyanto and Titis Embun Ayu, supported by the British Council's Connections Through Culture Grant. Small Fry were thrilled to be asked to collaborate on this project and help aid in bringing together creatives across the UK and Indonesia.
“A Spoonful of Sugar in Your Cup of Tea” serves as a platform for dialogue among creatives from diverse backgrounds. It brings together individuals who share common spaces—one in Indonesia and another in the United Kingdom.
Through a series of focus group discussions, artistic creations, and an online public showcase, this book weaves together the voices and visions of 17 remarkable creatives. These individuals bravely confront and reflect topics of racism, sexism, and nationalism, offering a thought-provoking and hopeful glimpse into a future where positive social change prevails through their stories and artistic expressions.
We invite you to dive into this reflective journey, celebrate diverse perspectives from various communities, and experience the transformative power of creativity.
