*In light of the current situation with Coronavirus our pop up at Hatch is postponed. We hope everyone is doing okay in these uncertain times. We still hope to put on the event in the future. If people are interested it would be great to talk through any ideas you may have and offer some guidance. Especially to students who may be struggling due to university closures. Best Wishes, Maisy & Aine*

Small Fry (eventually) hope to do a pop up at Hatch! We want to curate an immersive space with your curious artworks within it. Tell us your weird and wonderful ideas. It could be a project you’re currently working on, or you could pitch an idea for how to develop it further and we’ll help support this where possible. Think large prints, wooden cutouts, ceramics, animations, objects, textiles, and more! These artworks will be displayed at Hatch on the 15th May, with an exciting launch to follow to celebrate the artworks!

Traditionally, Cabinet of Curiosities, also known as ‘wonder rooms’, were small collections of extraordinary objects. They told stories about the wonders and oddities of the world. We want this pop up to capture this spirit, displaying your stories & discoveries. Think everything and anything! DETAILS: *Please note the call out is only open to Manchester School of Art Students & Alumni!*

The initial call out ends on 25th March at midnight. If successful, you would need to be available on the week beginning 30th March for a chat about your ideas so we can make our final decision.

Any questions please email smallfrycollective@gmail.com
Thanks to Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan and Fred Aldous for their kind support.
